Receta de Epi
2 lbs. of shrimp
1/2 bottle of ketchup
salt and pepper to taste
lime juice – use 5 or 6 limes
- 1. Boil the shrimp
- 2. Peel them
- 3. Let them sit on the lime juice, salt and pepper overnight
- 4. Cut into tiny pieces the parsley, onions, celery and mix with the tabasco sauce and the ketchup
- 5. Drain the shrimp and pour the tabasco/ketchup sauce over them. Let them sit on the ketchup sauce ofr 3 or 4 hours before serving.
- 6. Serve on top of a leaf of lettuce.
Enjoy with a couple of saltine crackers.
